Downloading Your Recipes

You can download your recipes from Wholesum as a PDF — either your entire recipe library as a single cookbook, or an individual recipe by way of a one-recipe meal plan.

Download your whole cookbook

This exports every recipe on your account as one PDF, ready to print or keep as a backup.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Download your cookbook. It will tell you how many recipes are included.
  3. Click Download PDF.

The file saves to your computer automatically, named with your account name and today's date.

What's in it:

  • A cover page with your account name, recipe count and the export date
  • One recipe per page, sorted alphabetically by name
  • For each recipe: categories, tags, dietary restrictions, menu description, servings, ingredients and instructions
  • Substitute ingredients listed underneath the ingredient they replace
  • Page numbers throughout, and your account name in the footer

Quantities print exactly as you entered them on the recipe — nothing is scaled to a group size or converted to different units.

If you don't have any recipes yet, this section shows an empty state instead of the button.

Note: Large libraries take a moment to build. If you have several hundred recipes, give the page time to finish before clicking again.
