Ingredient Info Panel

When you export your meal plans to PDF or Excel, you can choose which details are included in the export. This allows you to customize the export to include only the information you need, such as brand, aisle number, or item number. This flexibility ensures that your exported meal plans contain the information that is most relevant to you.

The ingredient info panel (the "i" on the right hand column of your ingredient page) allows you to add additional details to each of your ingredients:

  • Purchase URL: If you have vendors that allow you to make online orders, have a linked URL for each ingredient can help streamline your process.  Add a URL for where the ingredient is purchased and the link will show up on your PDF or Excel shopping list.

  • Aisle Number: If you're shopping in-person at the grocery store, add information for the Aisle number so that it clearly appears on the shopping list

  • Brand: Specify the brand of the ingredient you prefer. This can be helpful if you have specific brand preferences or dietary requirements.

  • Item Number: Record any specific item numbers or codes associated with the ingredient. This information can be useful for tracking purposes or when communicating with vendors.

Customizing Exported Details

When you export your meal plans to PDF or Excel, you can choose which details are included in the export. This allows you to customize the export to include only the information you need, such as brand, aisle number, or item number. This flexibility ensures that your exported meal plans contain the information that is most relevant to you. From Settings, click "Export Customization" to define which columns show up.
