Rice & Beans with Tortilla Chips

Corn (dried)

Onion flakes
0.5 tablespoon(s)
Garlic (powder)
0.1 tablespoon(s)
Black beans (dried)
0.3 cup(s)
Taco seasoning
0.1 tablespoon(s)
Cheese
0.2 pound(s)
Rice (instant)
0.6 cup(s)
Chips
0.05 bag(s)

Recipe Instructions

1. Bring water to boil and stir in instant rice. Cover with a lid and cut off the heat. Use a 1:1 rice to water ratio
2. Bring water to a boil, add dehydrated beans and corn. (Use a bean to water ratio of at least 3:1. If it seems too thick, add more water.)
3. Stir periodically so the bean/corn paste doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan and so the consistency is even.
4. Add onion flakes and seasonings to the hydrated beans.
5. Serve with tortilla chips if you've got em.
