1. Combine dried black beans and water and cook on medium. For every cup of dehydrated beans, add 3-4 cups of water.
2. Add taco seasoning to the cooked beans + any additional spices desired.
3. In another pot, bring water and rice to a boil. Cover with a lid, remove from heat and let set until ready to serve.
4. Thinly slice cabbage and massage with a little bit of salt.
5. If you're feeling fancy, and have the time, warm up the tortillas before serving.
6. Serve warm beans, rice, and cabbage with diced onion, cheese and salsa on the side.
