Recipe Instructions

At home:
1. Package the rolled oats, raisins and walnuts together in a large Ziploc.
In the field:
2. Add 12 cups of water and the oatmeal to a large pot.
3. Bring to a boil and cook for 2-3 min until thick.
4. Mix 5 cups of treated water into the powdered milk.
5. Top with brown sugar and ½ cup milk per person.
