At home premix all dry ingredients. In camp, add 10 cups of water to premix in a large pot. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, and simmer until rice is tender. Add more water as necessary. Just before serving, add: marinated artichoke hearts (with liquid), slivered almonds, roasted
