Recipe Instructions

Gluten free if corn tortillas are used.
At home, mix instant refried beans, cheese powder, and Minute Rice in a ziplock.
At Camp: In one pot, add boiling water (add about the same amount water as cups of this mixture, 1:1) to instant refried beans, cheese powder, and instant Minute Rice, stir well, cover & insulate until beans & rice are rehydrated, 5 minutes at least Add more hot water if mixture is too thick.
In fry pan, heat oil and sauté onions (if using onions). Beat eggs (or mix up Ovaeasy egg crystals with water), add & cook stirring regularly until scrambled.
Warm tortillas (optional) and fill. Top with sour cream and salsa (optional).
