* Heat a large soup pot over medium-high heat. Crumble sausage into pot and cook until browned, about 10 min, Drain to discard grease
* Stir in half and half, chicken broth, milk, onion, oregano and red pepper flakes into sausage. Bring to a boil the simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 min.
* Stir in kale pieces and simmer until kale is tender
* Season with pepper
* Serve with hot crusty bread
