-Heat large pot of water and a bit of oil until boiling.
-Heat a small pot for gluten free pasta if needed.
-While waiting for water to boil, cook Italian sausage separately.
-Chop onions and summer squash.
-Saute onion in oil with seasoning (Italian seasoning, garlic salt, pepper, etc.).
-Add squash and saute with onions.
-When water boils, drop spaghetti noodles into pot and stir immediately to break up the noodles. T
-Turn water to low, cook until done, stir occasionally.
-Use lid to strain noodles. You can drain water into an empty pot to catch noodles if lid slips.
-Add spaghetti sauce when veggies are done. Heat through. Serve sauce & meat separately.
