Ramen is a classic backpacker and outdoor meal.  Cheap, light and satisfying.

 

But consider adding some jerky to the pot.  It hydrates in only a few min and gives you some needed protein at the end of the day.

While your water is boiling, find two fallen twigs and whittle up some campy chopsticks.
