Recipe Instructions

Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. Add butter and enough cold water to form a soft dough. Roll into small balls or flatten and cut into rings. Fry in ¾ inch hot oil until golden, about 2–3 minutes per side. Drain on a cloth. Toss warm doughnuts in icing sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot.
