Cook instant rice in 1½ cups boiling water, cover and stand 5 minutes. Dice summer sausage into small cubes and fry dry in a pot over medium-high until edges are browned and slightly crispy, about 3 minutes. Add dehydrated onions and garlic. Reconstitute egg powder with 8 tablespoons water and scramble into the sausage. Add rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir everything together over heat for 2 minutes.
