PRE-TRIP PREP (MAKE AHEAD): Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix brownie batter per package directions; stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake 25–30 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into individual squares. Wrap each piece tightly in plastic wrap; store in an airtight container. Can be frozen for longer trips.
ON THE RIVER: Unwrap and dust with powdered sugar just before serving. No preparation needed.
