Recipe Instructions

PRE-TRIP PREP: None required. Great layover day appetizer or party snack.

ON THE RIVER: Prepare 22 briquettes (10 below, 12 on top). Layer chips, refried beans, black beans, corn, jalapeños, and a generous layer of cheese in Dutch oven. Add more chips and another layer of cheese. Cover and bake 15–20 minutes until cheese is fully melted and bubbly. Serve directly from Dutch oven topped with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. Guests scoop straight from the pot.
