PRE-TRIP PREP: Hard-boil eggs at home 1–2 days before launch. Keep refrigerated/in cooler in shell until serving.
ON THE RIVER: Peel and halve eggs. Arrange a platter-style spread: hard-boiled eggs, cubed cheese, jerky, crackers, mustard, carrots, grapes, and pretzels. No cooking needed. Great for a quick beach snack-lunch or a floating lunch on a calm stretch.
