PRE-TRIP PREP: Bake muffins at home 1–2 days before departure; cool and store in a sealed container. Freeze turkey sausage links.
ON THE RIVER: No cooking required for muffins. Heat thawed sausage links in a pan over medium heat 5–7 minutes, turning until heated through. Set out fruit, butter, and jam. Serve muffins with butter and jam alongside sausage and fresh fruit.
